This is a disposable pod, meaning that the pod itself does NOT contain a battery, so you can discard of the individual pods with standard trash ones it is finished.
However, the device that is used with these pods does contains electronics and a lithium battery built in, and you can recharge it up to 500 times, If the device itself stops working, please dispose of it to your nearest battery/electronics sorting facilities. DO NOT throw away with standard trash or leave out in nature!
